Im confused with this, I got a new monitor and the hd60pro wouldnt let me display my consoles in anything but 1080p. I have a nvidia so if I do this ill be able to display my ps5 in 1440p with the capture device?

Where do you plug in the hdmi from your streaming camera with this setup??? The only option I have to plug in mine, is in to the MOBO itself - the gpu has only 1 hdmi & 3 dpi’s.

So I bought this Elgato 4k60 Pro today. My monitor is only capable of 1440p 144hz max. I connected it with two HDMI cables. (HDMI IN > Elgato) and (HDMI out > to Monitor). When I go to display settings it says my native resolution is that of my graphics card RTX 3070 which is 3840 x 2160. IF I change both to 1440p and then restart my PC it will lock it to 1440p. However, its as if the Elgato doesn't even know its connected and it will not work. I have a green screen when I open OBS as well and can only see the top left corner of my active monitor. I'm starting to wonder if the way you have it connected in your video "using Display Port cable" is the only way to get this to work? I know my monitor came with one but I cant find it lol. So right now I'm trying to get this to work and banging my head against the wall.

I was struggling and watched this video and the merging of displays seemed to work for me. I'm using a 144hz 2560x1440p monitor. Initially I was still getting green lines but it is because I had the capture card in a slower PCIe port and had to move it to a faster one. This might have been my issue all along not 100% sure but it is working now! My capture card was originally installed into the bad port by ibuypower where got the PC.

This tutorial doesn't tell the whole story regarding resolutions at 1440p and greater. Nor does it discuss what to do about audio settings. Just another failed-streamer trying to make RUclips content.

what do you do if you only got one hdmi on your graphics card thats used for a second monitor and a display port for main?

So how do I do this with NV Link? Running with 2 2080 Ti's. Geforce tells me I can't do this with a multiple GPU configuration.

The tutorial seems to work, and my elgato says 144hz like at 4:45 but running UFO fps test it is visually definitely still at 60fps. To be clear, ufo fps says it is 144, but I have another 144hz moniter to my left and ufo fps is very clearly worse fps on my main monitor that is cloned with the elgato

Hello, when I press "Agree and continue " at the disclaimer the scanning is not turning on, it just pops back. My pc specs: Gigabyte Nvidia Geforce RTX 3060 OC LHR 12Gb Ryzen 5 5600x 16gb of ram GIGABYTE B550 Gaming X V2 any ideas?
